Scouts! First, I hope you are as excited as I am in participating in this phenomenal event. I am honored to have been invited once more and I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you.
Here is little bit on my background:
I am employed at Bank of America where my primary role is to delight our personal and business clients by matching them with the best possible financial solution to manage their cash flow. I am responsible for managing our client portfolio by ensuring they take advantage of Bank of America’s fit products and services which in turn yield savings in time and money. I am also responsible for growing our business by positioning our products and services to new customers. So, what does all that mean? …It means: Personal Management.
On any given day I may have a scout like you tell me that they have started to receive an allowance and that they would like to put it away. Yet, they would like to have some to spend. My role is to make sure you are set up with the proper accounts for you to manage your goals.
On another occasion I may have your parents come and see me about your education. My role is to present them either a savings plan or a loan which allows them to budget over time without compromising any other savings plans or goals.
If you have done your homework, you may have read up about stocks. Stocks lead me to my secondary role at Bank of America. I contribute to the overall performance of the company by complying with company policies and procedures and by meeting sales goals. My contribution helps to determine the 52-week low and 52-week high price. Therefore, I have to apply my own personal management within my job.
Prior to becoming a Bank of Ameican, I worked for The Home Depot where I held different sales roles throughout the store. I conducted multiple clinics such as Home Depot's Faux Finishing, Do-It-Herself, and the Kids Workshop. While at Home Depot, I helped conduct the Home Depot Home Repairs, Plumbing, and Painting Merit Badge clinics at the store and at the Merit Badge University.
I was a fellow scout of Troop 1776 for about five years. I was very involved witht the Junior Leadership Training (JLT) program which I attended as a participant and followed up as a leader for two additional years.

The time that we have is short and precious! A Scout is always prepared! So, COME PREPARED!
***PoP Quiz will be handed out at the beginning of the class with a question for each requirement #3, #4, #6, #7, and a tie breaker question from any of the other requirements*** The highest score will get a very nice Bank of America duffle bag!

#2 - Note: I know you may be on short notice for the 13 wks but just think of those items on which you regularly spend your money and jot them as to allow you to go back in time 13 wks. Its not hard guys! We know what we spend our money on.

#9 - I do not necessarity want you to have a fully executed plan; HOWEVER, I do want you to have tought out and written down a rough draft. I will prepare and allow time for a team exercise petaining to this requirement.
#10 - Please do a quick search on the net if your parents allow you or take advantage of your school or public library. We may not have the resources on site to allow you to research and discuss the career of your choice!
